BROS Meeting in 2001

The Second BROS Owner Meeting in "Norikura Kougen" on May 4th and 5th in 2001 took placed by mostly the supporting of Mr. P2 who administer Twin Field. The Total number of motorcycles participated on this meeting was 15, which included 9 real BROS, and 2 fake BROS that were put on the tape written on "BROS". This meeting was successful as a whole. The two motorcycles put on by tape would give the great impact into the history of this meeting, I guess.

It was sunny day on May 4th, when was the only annual meeting that BROS from the whole country headed. The place of this meeting, Norikura Kougen, located in my hometown, Nagano Prefecture in Japan because Nagano is geologically the middle of Japan. Fortunately it was very accessible for me to go there from my home. The distance between them would be less than 100km. So I left my home at 11am in no hurry but I got to Meeting point very early more than I had expected. While I awaited other BROS on the way, I exactly saw the herd of BROS. My first feeling at the time was really sick. But that was the thing I just predicted.

The hotel in which we stayed was "Alice". After I carried my stuff to a room, and got relaxed, I saw a strange car. When the rear door of a car opened, I found out two BROS on a car. Because one of them was on the Customs, which was Mr. Yuji's, it was impossible for him to come by himself. And another was Mr. Nob's. Mm.... I believed the situation was really strange, like exactly BROS Meeting.

I enjoyed talking with them and got excited at crazy BROS fellows had yammy dinner and took a bath of hot spring. After we took a rest for a while, there was kind of fun times, like we discussed BROS and Honda of the future with Mr. Nakanura who is the founder of "Dream Riders" and working at Honda tech, and also there was a game of "rock-paper-scissors" for getting "Kiritanpo", the food represented of Akita prefecture Mr. Yokoyama brought. At next day before leaving "Alice", we all took some pictures. Probably the pictures would be hanged on the wall of "Alice", I hope.

This is the picture of just leaving at "Alice". Strange to say, although there were two Gold Wing, two guys of "Kinyokutou" put BROS tape on the side of them for covering real ones. Of course, we all agreed with that the two Gold Wing should be BROS with no doubt.

After the new BROS ceremony, we moved to a parking space near "Alice", and we ranged on all BROS in there. The shooting all BROS took place. Also I felt that today was too good to ride on the road of "Mt.Norikura" covered with a little snow in sun shiny sky. During the riding, Mr. Yuji and Nob who got Good Bye from us were going to Kansai areas. We all, 13 riders went down to "Mastumoto City", and then headed to "Joushinetu highway" for "Mimaki Road Station", in which the Off Meeting of Dream Riders was taken placed.

After riding on high ways personally, we came together in front of the Toll Gate in "Toubu Yunomaru" IC. Suddenly we had a trouble just before leaving there. The accident seemed to happen supertrapp of Mr. Koishi's. Its muffler stay was apparently broken because of tiredness of the metal.

Well when we were talking about how to mend, Mr. Nakamura figured out the solution. He found the big store, called Home center. We all, 13 riders immediately headed to there, which would be very strange scenery if people saw us, and we made emergency measures to it. But I guess if its muffler was removed from the body during the riding, it would have caused very dangerous situation to following cars. Um.... it must be lucky. I really believe God saved it because of our good behavior with BROS.

Well after getting to the Mimaki Road Station, we were able to see the eccentric herd of riders. It was exactly different from our group, BROS OWNERS. We got various feelings about it. Therefore we decided that our meeting was over in there. By the way it was just 10km from there to my home. Actually 20 minutes later, I already faced my computer and had written about this meeting on board of Twin Field.
